I made this card using a combination of 2 painting programs, Photoshop and Procreate. The fish and background were coloured on Procreate and then I brought my colouring into Photoshop where I have a card template made which I can manipulate to suit the coloured image and also add any text. This lovely fish is from IKEsART Tropical Fish set.

I just love this saying - it is awesome to be different and not follow the 'sheep' ROFL. I created this card digitally, background like the one here are such fun to do - just blob on the colours and then play with some of the program settings to get different mixing results. Next the birds and text were added, a very quick digital card to make but rather like how it has turned out :)

Ahhh how could anybody resist giving this wee pup a treat at Halloween, just look at that face. Do you think a beef and pumpkin flavoured biscuit would be acceptable lol.
For this card I used Ike's Howl-oween image and digitally coloured using Procreate and added the background too. I then exported the image to Photoshop to finish off my digital card where I have a card template made up of several layers which I can manipulate with relative ease. Really enjoying the digital colouring at the moment lol

I created this wee plaque of one of our pussy cats from a photo I took of him. Lots of image editing - background removal, playing with contrast etc. needed to prepare the image for laser burning but I am so pleased with how he turned out. I really must get round to doing his sister Bree so I have the matching pair, just wish there were more hours in the day.

Oh I do love these box cards :) :) This was a commission for a friend who's granddaughter was having her second birthday and a unicorn had to be included in the design. It is not often I make a card that is all die cutting so this was a lovely change to the usual.

I use Leaf 5 for this CAS style card and coloured it digitally using Procreate - it is rather relaxing being able to chill out in the recliner with the I-Pad and just colour :) :) Once I was happy with the image I sent it over to my laptop where I finished off the card design. I often feel I am cheating a bit colouring digitally but then I remind myself it is just another learning curve/skill and after all creating is about fun and that is what I am having lol :) xxxxx

Just a simple card from me this month :), I was playing around in Photoshop with pattern fills and loved how the manatee turned out with an ocean pattern filling so decided to use him for this challenge. I kept the background really simple with just some quick splatters using a splatter brush and selecting colours that were from the manatee on a white textured background. Yep really simple I know but sometimes simple does the trick. I finished of with some simple text but it says everything, we all love somebody remembering us for no reason at all, just to say Hi :) :) Hope you all have a good day.

Just a simple digital card using an old map of England for the background and toned down with a light brown overlay. The card backing layer has an embossed texture added for a bit of a texture feel. The bike was a free .png download and just perfect for what I was looking for. To finish off I created the banner layer for the text to be added and then placed my text on top. Very simple but I rather like the outcome of this card and hope you do too :) :)

I love this week box that I made on my laser and so proud of myself as it is totally my own design. My maths is not the best so working out how to sort the placement of the holes for the side panels and size of panels so everything fitted perfectly was a real learning curve, that goodness for awesome software that helped big time lol. The image which I etched on the lid of the box is by Aurora Wings. Once the box was sanded, varnished and assembled I then added a some gold bead around the base which I threaded onto fishing line and then glued.

For this challenge I made a tea-light holder using Angel #4 Front and Back - I only used the front of the image. I etched the Angle image onto plywood and offset the outer line to create a cutting line leaving an edge between the etching and the cut. Next I stained the wood with Promarkers trying although not very successfully to have a shaded wood effect. An electronic candle was placed in the candle holder section. I really should have taken the pic in the evening when you can really see how the glow of the candle illuminates the angel.

Another digital card created on Photoshop from me this fortnight. I do love playing with digital creations, something I generally find very relaxing to do. For this creation I created a white background and added a red overlay along with embossed textures. The blue background was created with watercolour brushes and 70% opacity as I wanted this to be strong colours but show a bit of texture. Finally a white dandelion and some white text with drop shadow added to make it pop a bit.

For my card I used an image I coloured a long time ago by Elizabeth Bell, so perfect for this challenge. The frame is digital, took a bit of manipulation to make it fit as it was a rectangle but I think I managed to hide where I made the split and rejoined it. Holidays are a bit of a sad point this year but I am sure there will be chances to get down to the beach for a picnic if nothing else. This frame is so perfect for the area where I live, all the items including the seals are pretty much on my doorstep in the North East of England.

Just a very simple card from me this fortnight. I have made a digital card again as I am struggling with hand colouring at the moment, between eyes that don't want to focus on fine detail and a craft room which is full of wood and my laser meaning I can't get to my card making items I am between the devil and the deep blue sea ROFL, just so thankful that I can continue to make cards digitally and have all the fun of creating without the stress of trying to get to my items etc.

Oh so much fun :) I used one of the coffee images from IKEsART I LUV COFFEE Set Set of 4 + 6 FREE Papers and added the sentiment. I then used my laser to make this 30cm wood cut of the design. Next I used a 30cm sq MDF board and lightly etched the coffee cup image so I could place the wood cut accurately once I had done the painting. The painting was done using acrylic paints and the spots on the coffee cup were created by dipping the rubber on the end of a pencil into the paint and using that for stamping. I just love this and will be putting it up in what used to be my dining room as coffee is the liquid that seems to keep me going these days ROFL.

I found this card pretty hard to make as I couldn't think who to give it to lol. I guess I am old school as to me a graduate is one who graduates from university and leaving education to enter the world of work. Both my daughters graduated last year, they decided to work after leaving school until they found their chosen careers and from there did their degrees in subjects to take them further in their chosen field. My eldest daughter is doing here Post Grad at the moment and will complete that next year. So, back to my card, I decided on a generic card using the colours the main university in my area - Newcastle Upon Tyne and will be able to add a name if needed at a later date or leave it blank :)

Today I am sharing a card created digitally and using Quirky Parrot by Ike. A fun bit of early morning colouring while hubby was sleeping ROFL. I used Photoshop to colour the image and create the background using several layers. This guy is so cute, I don't know why I have not coloured him before lol.

I thought I would give no line colouring a go digitally using Procreate and aim for a very loose watercolour effect. Not sure I achieved any of that lol but it was a great learning exercise and super fun. The image used is DAFFODIL FAIRY by IKEsART.

You know when you have a day that seems to come to a standstill, you can't get on with the things you were doing for one reason or another - well that is me today. My craftroom is upside down, no space, I have things waiting for glues to dry and can't move them. We have also stripped out our dining room waiting for the joiner to come which was meant to be today but is now tomorrow (I hope) so not only work space in the craft room taken up but so is half the floor. I am at a standstill but Ike came to the rescue lol - instead of wasting time I decided to make this card all from my chair without having to move as it is all digital. The background paper is from a gelli print I made, one of a batch of about 30 or 40 using up printer paper which had my daughters degree assignments on. I loved the papers I made I decided to scan them all with the idea that I could use them for digital cards. Oh how I love it when a plan comes together. In my happy place too as I just love a monochrome challenge, a total favourite. Although I normally head for purples or blues I pushed the boat out with this one and used green ROFL. The image is "Wren' by IKEsART and the software used to create this card is Photoshop.
