Challenge #216

Theme 'Use A Digi'

My mini team are using the digi 'Window Shopping' by Stitchy Stamps this week.

To begin with I used the .png version of this stamp and super imposed it on top of a piece of paper I made using a Photoshop lace brush by Obsidian Dawn.

 Next I coloured the digi and cut using Spellbinders Labels 1

 Promarkers used

 Time to make some bits and bobs.  Using some wire wound round a toothpick to make a spiral and then a few beads at the top to make spiral stems to be placed amongst my flowers on the card.

 Next the tag, using hand made paper, just gorgeous for this as it has small peach petals embedded in it which match the dp I am using from Crafters Companion.  I added a birthday sentiment too.  This time I am trying using fishing line to attach the tag <g>

 WIth all my bits ready time to assemble.

Here is the base of my card, all ready now for the digi and embellishments.  Going a bit over the top with the flowers on this one :)

 A quick addition, a butterfly.  This is a wee silver metal butterfly which I have airbrushed with burgundy and apricot.

 Bit more work on the digi is needed.  Using a sponge thing I dabbed on the copper ink pad and used around the edges of the die cut for contrast.  Rather like how this turned out.

 I used some spare paper I had printed for the inside of the card.

 And here is the finished creation
