Daffodil

Hello folks.  We have another challenge at One Stitch At A Time so how about popping over to see all the fabulous creations by the design team.  The prize this month is an awesome digi pack Floral Digital Stamp Setcontaining several images and a paper pack too - how cool is that.

Challenge #234

Theme 'Easter/Passover'

Where is this year going, I don't know about you but it seems to be flying by.  Here we are at Easter time already and all I can think of is Cadbury Cream Eggs - with the old recipe not the new and improved which is yucky.  One good thing, with yucky cream eggs which I won't buy does mean no extra calories or guilty conscience hahahaha'

For my card I have used a daffodil image by Kaz Kraftz which is part of a floral image pack - Floral Digital Stamp Set.  I have found this card so hard to make, I do love daffodils and loved colouring the image with my Promarkers but I am not a red/orange/yellow person and often avoid these colours to work with hence this very yellow card was a real challenge.

Ingredients:-
  • Image - Floral Digital Stamp Set by Kaz Kraftz
  • Colouring medium - Promarkers
  • Dies - Spellbinders Scalloped Ovals and Ovals, Tattered Lace (came with a magazine and don't know the name of the die_
  • From my Stash - lace, ribbon, flower, buttons, pearls.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:-
Thanks for looking and hope you have a happy crafting day:)

  9. A lovely creation, spring and yellow, but you didn't use a stamp from De Stempelwinkel. That's the most important requirement : The main feature of your project MUST be a STAMPED image available from de-Stempelwinkel. So I'm very sorry, but you can't join the challenge of De Stempelwinkel with this creation.

  10. Mimi, this card is so gorgeous! I love how intricate it is and the cross embellishment. This just makes you think spring with the colors you have chosen. I also love the laces you chose.

I also understand about the Cadbury eggs! I hoard a few for throughout the year. Sometimes you just need one :)

Thanks so much for playing along at ~Jo's Scrap Shack~

    Happy crafting,
