Time for another challenge over at
Challenge 33
Coloured Hair (other than natural colours0
It seems ages since I made a card in greens and I always think they look so pretty. This is the prefect challenge for me to rectify the green issue and in for a penny in for a pound an all green card :) :). This week I am using the image Lust 1, one of my all time favourites digis, a little erotic I know (so I hope you are not offended) but oh so beautifully drawn :)
To begin with I added the text 'Free Spirit' over the digi and then printed.
Next I moved onto the card blank. I cut my blank smaller than usual and the mount smaller again as I wanted the lace to be over the edges. The lace was rushed up to give it lots of texture.
The digi was coloured with Promarkers.
I had planned of using several doilies but I just love this one - sizzix - doily, but it is a bit large to have more than one on this card. So one was cut and then I airbrushed it with the same green Promarkers I used for the image.
The inside of the card has a simple white area for writing so I used the metal die and airbrushed the bottom corner with more of the greens. To protect the area I did not want to be coloured I used the left over cut out area and placed it back around the die - it worked a treat :)
And here we have the finished card, finished off with a few sprays of pearls and some beautiful lime green rose buds.
Ingredients:-Coloured Hair (other than natural colours0
Welcome back to the IKEsWORLD challenges :) do pop on over to IKEsWORLD to join in the challenge, just remember, you must use and IKEsART image to be eligible for the prize. Why not pop on over to the store too :), Ike produces the most amazing stamps, everything from off the wall to cute and fluffy :) :) :)
