I have a quick card today to share with you. Yesterday I found out I had won over at Pattie's Creations and one of the prize images I chose was this wonderful daffodil circle. I could not resist today making a card with it - think I must be eagerly waiting for Spring as this is the second daffodil card I have made this week.
Several mats on this card to give great height and I finished off by embossing the top layer with a Tattered Lace embossing folder. Next I added a couple of swirl die cuts - Cherry Lyn b127 Tropical Flourish in yellow card and a doily die by Tonic using green gingham vellum. The image was coloured with Promarkers. I printed the image at 50% opacity as I wanted to go over some of the drawing lines with my green Promarker. I also added the sentiment before printing. Finally a lemon yellow satin bow and some buttons were added to complete my creation.
The inside of the card was finished off with a strip of the patterned paper I used for the front of the card and another Tonic doily cut in the vellum which I then cut into two pieces. A wee bit of yellow ribbon to carry the yellow through to the inside of the card and all done.
