OSAAT - Cowgirl Too

Hello folks.  We have another challenge at One Stitch At A Time so how about popping over to see all the fabulous creations by the design team.  The prize this month is an awesome digi pack containing several images and a paper pack too - how cool is that.

Theme 'Anything Goes with Love' 

This week I am working with the image I am using is Cowgirl Too by Beary Dust - she is a wee cracker isn't she :) :) :)   I seem to have made a few Valentine cards recently and all of them traditional and very girly so this one I am hoping is suitable for the boys.  The image does not have the love heart so I drew that in so she would be sitting on something.

To begin with I printed the sentiment and some papers ready for my layered mounts. Each of the papers and the sentiment were cut out and mounted on black card.  I then distressed the edges of each of the sections.

 I also printed an insert for the inside of the card using the same papers and a heart which I added a shadow effect to so as to have a 3D effect.

 The image was coloured with Promarkers then mounted on beige card and then black card, finishing off in the same way as the other sections by distressing.  Brads were added and a cowboy boot charm.
